Festive Waist With Van Dyck Lace
Dies Blatt gehört der Hausfrau!, December 1894
shoulder glove fan
"As we have stated often already, sharp-ponted lace decorations are now all the rage. Here, the lace of fine silk threads is used to frame the angualr décolleté of a pink silk blouse. To keep the points in place, they are fixed with hidden stitches. To be noted about this simple but pretty getup are the gloves, in which the woven pattern is traced with gold thread embroidery. The hair is crowned with a wreath of fine fern and pink flowers. Rich, carved fan. Pearl necklace."
